Leather bags are susceptible to absorbing  grease and oils. Wipe the leather bag with a soft clean dry cloth. Store the leather purse in a dust bag or wrapped in natural-fabric.You can wrap the metallic parts in  a clean dry tissue paper. If you have just cleaned you bag, allow it to air dry completely before storage. If you are storing long-term. ease open the buckles and straps so impressions are released.
